Second Grade is complete! We’ve had a great year of learning. Parents, THANK YOU for supporting your child’s learning and behavior.

To be ready for Third Grade: keep working on telling time, counting money and making change, and continue to memorize those basic addition and subtraction facts (1+?, 2+?, 3+?….9+?). Please continue to have your child read 20 minutes every day this summer, so they don’t lose any of the skills they’ve worked so hard to attain. The Greene County Library sent home some information about their Summer Reading Program last week; they have some great incentives and prizes along the way. Get creative and have your child read a recipe as you cook together, read road signs, read to a younger sibling (or a pet or stuffed animal), read to a grandparent…there are opportunities everywhere you look! Keep it fun and keep reading!

Upcoming Events –

  • Tuesday, August 14 – MEET THE TEACHER NIGHT
  • Thursday, August 16 – FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Have a wonderful summer!
